All "true" teas—white, green, black, and oolong—come from the same bush: Camellia sinensis. They differ in the degree of oxidation (fermentation) of the leaves after harvesting, which affects the taste, brew color, and caffeine content.
White tea is the least processed variety. Leaves and buds are hand-picked at an early stage of growth and only air-dried naturally, without rolling or fermentation. This preserves the maximum amount of natural antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. The brew is light golden, delicate, with virtually no bitterness. White tea contains less caffeine than green or black tea. Our Rose Journey is a white tea with rose petals—subtle, floral, perfect for a peaceful afternoon.
Green tea is slightly more processed—after harvesting, the leaves are heat-treated (steamed or pan-fried), which stops fermentation. This preserves their green color and fresh, vegetal taste. Sencha is the most popular Japanese green tea—the leaves are steamed, giving them a grassy, slightly sweet character. Our Jasmine Fantasy combines sencha with jasmine buds—a classic combination where the freshness of green tea meets the floral aroma of jasmine. Green tea contains a moderate amount of caffeine and is rich in catechins—powerful antioxidants.
Black tea is fully fermented, which gives it a dark color, intense flavor, and higher caffeine content. Earl Grey is a variety of black tea flavored with bergamot oil—a citrus fruit from the orange family. Our Cornflower Adventure is an original version of Earl Grey with raspberry and lavender—bergamot complemented by fruity sweetness and the herbal calm of lavender. It's our twist on a classic, surprising with its multi-dimensional flavor.
Rooibos is not technically a tea—it's an infusion from the leaves of the Aspalathus linearis bush, growing exclusively in the Cederberg region of South Africa. It is naturally caffeine-free, rich in minerals (calcium, magnesium, iron) and antioxidants. It has a mild, slightly sweet taste. Our Chocolate Relaxation is rooibos with cocoa nibs and cinnamon—caffeine-free, naturally sweet, perfect for evening relaxation. It tastes like a warm dessert, but without sugar or calories.
Herbal tea (e.g., our Honey Soothe with honeybush) is a blend of herbs and flowers, without Camellia sinensis leaves. It is always caffeine-free and can be drunk without restrictions at any time. Honeybush gives it a natural sweetness without sugar.
